Ninebanks Youth Hostel is up for sale and may close in 2026.
In the meantime we don’t want to let anyone down so we’re taking bookings for the next 6 months.
The winter months are a great time to be in the North Pennines. Leave behind the cold grey slush of the cities and see if you’ll be lucky enough to be here in the snow. With full central heating and logburners in the hostel and chalet it’s a great place to come back to at the end of a days walk and on a clear night you can see the milky way high above you.

To book sole use of the hostel call or email us to discuss your stay. If you want to bring smaller numbers we may be able to offer a lower price for fewer rooms and if you’d like to stay longer than 2 nights we can offer a discount for longer stays.
