You don’t need to use every one of the beds to book sole use of the hostel. It’s an ideal space for family holidays, field study, breaks away, outdoor adventure, birthday celebrations or simply getting together.
For those booking the whole hostel there is also the opportunity to bring up to two dogs along as part of your party.
The hostel can sleep up to 28 beds in 6 bedrooms from 2-8 beds; rooms are in two wings. If you would like extra rooms the chalet can be booked if available.
IN THE FORMER MINESHOP ARE FOUR BEDROOMS:
- Malachite and Galena both have a double bed with a single over. Malachite also has space for a cot
- Baryte has four beds in two sets of bunks
- Sphalerite has six beds in three sets of bunks, has the shower room adjacent
ABOVE THE SITTING ROOM IN THE ORIGINAL COTTAGE WING, ORCHARD HOUSE, ARE A FURTHER TWO BEDROOMS:
- Fluorite has four beds in two sets of bunks
Witherite has eight beds in four sets of bunks, it has an en-suite shower room and adjacent toilet.
PARKING
There is parking for about nine vehicles on the roadside at the front of the hostel. If you are expecting more than this then we can advise on some spaces a mile away, and you can leave additional vehicles there once unloaded.
